5566’s Sam Wang, 45, Has Never Washed His Own Clothes, Say His Mum Always Does It For Him
What is up with male stars and doing laundry?
Taiwanese actor and 5566 member Sam Wang (王少偉), 45, recently appeared on talk show 11 Dian Re Chao Dian (11点热吵店) where he surprised the hosts and his fellow guests by saying that he has never once washed his own clothes.
He's really strict when it comes to "bed requirements"
Sam first started talking about his sleeping habits, revealing that because he likes to sleep in the nude, so it is important that he take a shower before bed.
He also said he is unable to tolerate anyone sitting on his bed while wearing their “outside clothes”. And yes, that applies to the ladies he fancies as well.
“I once liked someone, and she knew that my house was nicely decorated so she wanted to come over to take a look. She saw my bed and said it looked very comfortable, but the moment she wanted to get on [it], I sternly stopped her,” recalled Sam.
He added that then gave her two choices: to either leave, or sleep naked as well.
Sam's mum is the only person who has done his laundry for him for the past 45 years of his life 
Is this why he's still single?
Sam went on to reveal that his mum has always done his laundry.
He even confessed that he has never owned a washing machine.
His mum would visit him, pick up his dirty laundry, and then take them back to her house for washing. She would then bring it back to him, and also send him food while she was at it.
The hosts and guests on the show were all shocked by his revelation, with Yulin exclaiming: “Turns out you’re a mummy’s boy!”.
Host Melody was also stunned by the news and cried out: “You’re really a mummy’s boy! You’re almost 50 and you’ve never done your own laundry! No wonder you’re not married! I was thinking about how you’re still single despite being good looking and famous.”
After being dubbed a mummy’s boy by everyone, Sam went on to explain that it was because he’s lived alone for a long time, and often gets busy with work. His parents would use the excuse of washing his clothes or sending him food to visit him, and over time, it just became a habit.
Melody then told Sam that if his mother were to always be in charge of his meals, laundry, and cleaning, he would “never find somebody that he liked [enough]”, because “no one in the world can compare to mum”.

Sam’s confession on the show caused quite a stir amongst netizens. Many expressed their shock, leaving comments like “he’s not ashamed to talk about this?” and “it's no wonder he’s still single”.
However, there were also a couple of netizens who felt that there was nothing wrong with the situation and said it was “good that he let the old folks feel like they can still do something [for him]”.
