'80s Star Hu Huichung’s 22-Year-Old Daughter Now Working Part-Time At TVB

Is there going to be a new second-gen star in showbiz? According to reports, the only daughter of '80s movie star Hu Huichung (胡慧中) may just be following in her footsteps.

Huichung was one of the biggest stars back in the '80s, appearing in a string of successful movies like 1979’s Your Smiling Face, 1981’s The Coldest Winter in Peking, 1985’s My Lucky Stars and 1988's The Inspector Wears Skirts.

The actress, who was touted as Lin Ching Hsia’s successor, was often referred to as one of the four beauties of Taiwan.

However, the 64-year-old faded out of the spotlight in the late ‘90s, after tying the knot with Hong Kong businessman Patrick Ho.

Now, the spotlight seems to have been cast on the couple’s only child, 22-year-old Audrey Ho.

Audrey is very active on YouTube and social media

Audrey, who has a diploma in media studies, has a YouTube channel with 386 subscribers, where she posts videos about her daily life in fluent English.

She’s currently working part-time in TVB’s News Department, and has shared that she wishes to become an actress in the future.

Mum and daughter.

Apart from that, Hong Kong media has reported that Audrey has appeared as a calefare on two TVB productions, including the 2022 drama, Communion.

Just a few days ago, Audrey posted a picture with Hong Kong actress Alice Chan, 48, revealing that she’s a big fan of the TVB artiste.

Will Audrey make the jump to becoming a full-time actress just like her mum? Only time will tell.
