987 DJ Gerald Koh Thinks He "Sprained An Abdominal Muscle" While Cheering His Wife On In The Delivery Room
The 37-year-old jock also wrote the sweetest message to his wife after she gave birth to their first kid, a girl.
987 DJ Gerald Koh, 37, is now the proud father of a baby girl.
Since announcing in May that his 30-year-old wife Thia Zhixin is pregnant, the jock has kept his followers updated on their parenthood journey.
Take this video for example: the couple showed how they decided on Gemma’s name, and gave a nursery tour to show off all the adorable things that they bought for their “Disney baby”.
Today (Nov 5), a palpably anxious Gerald posted live updates on what was going on in the Mount Elizabeth Novena delivery suite his wife was in and showed how impressed he was with the technology.
At 2pm, Gerald posted his first snap of baby Gemma, gushing, “I don’t know if I can love anything more you lil spoil market (sic)”.
He also penned the sweetest message to his wife: “I love you. You were so brave. I’m here trying to pretend that I’m that huge pillow of confidence and support, but deep inside I was so scared.”
“I think I sprained an abdominal muscle whilst cheering you on with the pushing,” Gerald continued. “Thank you for this whole experience that has humbled me so much. I promise to do the dishes and laundry doubly clean [because] it’s nothing compared to what you’ve done. I love you.”
Gerald has since shared the first pic of their family of three, quipping that he can now let the emo tears run. Cos it was a lil embarrassing with the doctor and nurses in the room. (sic)
