Allan Wu’s video of Stanford-bound daughter shows she’s also a really good basketball player
Earlier this week, we learnt that Allan Wu's 18-year-old daughter Sage got accepted into the prestigious Stanford University, one of the top ranked schools in the world.
The 50-year-old star recently had another proud dad moment, this time on a basketball court.
Yesterday (May 9), Allan shared a video of Sage competing in a basketball match.
In the video, Sage, who has wearing the number 2 jersey, can be seen skillfully maneuvering past members of the opposing team, scoring point after point.
Also can we just take a moment to appreciate that effortless 3-pointer she made?!
Meanwhile, we can hear Allan excitedly cheering his daughter on.
"Nice, Sage!!" he whooped.
"Yeah, I was that loud and overzealous dad at his children’s sporting events back pre-pandemic days," enthused Allan in his caption. Sage is Allan's daughter with his ex-wife, former actress Wong Li Lin. They also have a younger son Jonas, 17.
"But when you see your kids begin to believe what they can achieve with hard work and discipline, I think it’s purty (sic) special," he added.
Allan has every reason to be that overly enthusiastic dad because Sage was simply brilliant on the court.
Look at Sage go.
Even netizens couldn't help but sing praises of Sage.
"She has great skills! Gets it from her Papa," wrote one netizen, to which Allan replied: "Our kids are the best of us".
