American pizza chain Little Caesars closing all outlets in S’pore, exiting local market

American pizza chain Little Caesars arrived in Singapore in 2018 to much fanfare; the brand has over 4,500 outlets in the US, where it is popular for its budget-friendly pies fronted by a little Roman man mascot.

It’s now 2024, and Little Caesars just announced that it is closing its last outlet here at Funan Mall.

According to the social media post, titled “A Goodbye For Now, Singapore”, the “last remaining” Funan outlet will be “closing down soon this September 2024”. No specific closure date or reason was given.

7 outlets at its peak

During its six-year run here, Little Caesars opened some seven outlets islandwide with delivery options.

Last July, it closed its Holland Piazza outlet, and gradually started closing more branches: Junction 9 in October 2023, Clementi Ave 5 in May this year, West Coast Plaza in July, Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 in August and — just last week — the Northshore Plaza outlet.

The Bedok Reservoir branch, which opened just in December 2022, quietly closed without any announcement, leaving only the Funan Mall outlet, which will be shuttering later this month.

Wallet-friendly pizzas

Little Caesars is possibly the lowest-priced major pizza chain here; a Large-sized 12-inch pepperoni or cheese pizza costs just $11.90. The chain also famously boasted that it could serve customers their pizzas in 30 seconds.

Other than pizzas, it also offers a signature Stuffed Crazy Bread with an oozy cheese filling, spicy Caesar Wings and pocket-sized pizzas called Crazy Puffs.

Little Caesars’ last outlet is at #01-18 Funan Mall, 107 North Bridge Road, S179105. Open daily, Mon-Thu 11am-9pm; Fri-Sun 11am-10pm. Delivery available via https://littlecaesarsdelivery.sg/menu/.
