Benny Chan And Wife Lisa Jiang Debunk Divorce Rumours While Getting Their Hair Dyed In A Salon On Live Stream
Hong Kong actor Benny Chan, 52, and wife Lisa Jiang, 36, celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in July and are known to be really loving and have no qualms being real in front of the camera.
Which is why rumours claiming that Benny and Lisa, who have four children, Elizabeth, 10, Cyrus, nine, Isabella, eight and Victoria, six, are splitting up have surprised many.
So what caused them?

According to Chinese media, it all started when Lisa openly expressed her dissatisfaction with her husband.
Earlier on, Lisa took to Douyin live stream to complain about how Benny had been working on a new show during the holidays. She hinted that he was “out philandering” while alone on the work trip.
Lisa’s eyes were red and swollen, and she wore a pained expression as she lamented about how Benny didn’t care about any home matters at all, including their four children. She was frustrated by his lack of effort, and said that she would file for a divorce once the holidays were over.
Her accusation that Benny was “out philandering” led Chinese netizens to think that he might have been fooling around behind her back.

On the other hand, Benny was reportedly frustrated by Lisa’s behaviour, and the fact that she publicly announced that she wanted a divorce.
He confirmed that he was part of the crew that was working on a new show during the holidays, but said he never “went to play”.
Benny also allegedly said that if Lisa was firm on a divorce and didn’t go “overboard” with her settlement requests, he would agree to it.
Everything is a-okay
The couple once quarreled on live stream in front of thousands of their viewers, and some might have taken that as indication of signs of cracks in their marriage.
During that stream, Lisa cooked noodles for their children, and Benny, thinking it was lunch, ate his daughter’s share. When Lisa found out about it, she looked at him with disdain and chided him, saying: “The noodles are for the children, you’re already an adult, and you’re still fighting your kids for their food.”
Benny then got impatient and accused Lisa of making a mountain out of a molehill. He also said she could “just cook noodles for their daughter again” without losing her temper.
As for the divorce rumours, the couple took to Douyin to film a live stream to debunk those reports yesterday (Oct 5). And they did that while getting their hair dyed at a salon.
“Don’t believe the rumours, everyone. There is no conflict between us, and the reports are all false. So there’s nothing much to clear up. I simply hope that life will be blissful and stable,” said Lisa.
