This Bus Driver Looks Just Like Leslie Cheung And People Think He’s Really The Late Star
Oh, come on.
We’ve all heard stories of how Elvis Presley faked his death and has been living incognito for decades. Or how the late Michael Jackson is really still alive and has even been spotted in disguise several times. It shows how beloved these stars are, so much so that their fans can’t seem to let them go.
And the latest conspiracy theory regarding a deceased star has to do with Cantopop icon and screen legend Leslie Cheung who committed suicide in 2003, 16 years ago.
Recently, a Chinese netizen uploaded photos of a bus driver who looks uncannily like the star. The pics quickly went viral and netizens were blown away by how much the driver resembled Leslie, even going so far as to suggest that the driver is actually the late star and that Leslie had faked his death so he could live a life away from the spotlight. Right…
“This driver really looks like Gor gor (Leslie’s nickname). I really hope he had hidden this secret from all of us and that he has been leading a low-key life for the past 16 years,” wrote one hopeful netizen.
From his facial features to his nonchalant, too-cool-for-school posture, the bus driver really does resemble a younger Leslie Cheung. Turns out, these photos first went viral in 2018. Then, some netizens actually paid the bus driver a visit at work, where they were surprised by how much the driver looked like the late star in person.
Netizens are now saying that with his good looks, it’s a pity that the bus driver isn’t in showbusiness. Or rather, that he isn't parlaying his resemblance to Leslie into greater fame and fortune.
