Chinese Actress Wang Yan, 48 — Aka Qing Er In My Fair Princess II — Gets Into Character Again After 23 Years
Has it really been 23 years since My Fair Princess first aired? Chinese actress Wang Yan, 48, who played Qing Er in the second season of the classic drama has gained the attention of netizens recently, after dressing up as Qing Er once again.
Wang Yan, who made her acting debut in 1993, rose to fame after her stint in My Fair Princess II. She stepped out of the spotlight for a bit after tying the knot with Australian-Chinese real estate tycoon Wang Zhicai in 1997. They have a 15-year-old son, nicknamed Qiuqiu, together.

However, in recent years, she has returned to acting, starring in a number of period dramas like 2019’s Chong Er’s Preach.
Wang Yan is also currently filming for upcoming period drama Royal Feast, which stars Story Of Yanxi Palace leads Xu Kai and Wu Jinyan.

Frozen in time?
Recently, Wang Yan got into her My Fair Princess II character once again, donning the costume of the royal consort. After pictures were posted online, netizens could not help but to gush over how youthful Wang Yan looks.
“She looks just like the Qing Er that I saw all these years ago when I first watched My Fair Princess,” one netizen wrote, while another questioned if time is “standing still” for Wang Yan.
