This Chinese restaurant hired a Felix Wong doppelganger to ‘beat up’ their customers

Celeb doppelgängers sure have evolved.

This BBQ skewer restaurant in Nanning, China is going viral on social media after enlisting the help of a celebrity lookalike to promote their restaurant.

In the videos, the doppelgänger, who looks eerily similar to Hong Kong actor Felix Wong, 61, is dressed as Qiao Feng, the character the actor played in 1997 drama, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils.

That's the real Felix on the right, and the lookalike on the left.

With the era-appropriate outfit and full-on beard, it’s no wonder that netizens really thought it was Felix in the videos.

In one particular clip, the doppelgänger pretends to beat up a customer tucking into their meal.

Did they attempt to dine and dash? We couldn't really tell.

That doesn't seem like an appropriate use of your martial art training. Other videos feature the lookalike attempting to deliver food while in character, as well as operate a cash register. Pretty high-tech stuff for an ancient martial artist. Qiao Feng is now a modern man.
