Cyndi Wang’s Asking Price Now Higher Than K-Pop Star Jessica Jung’s After Popularity Skyrockets Thanks To Sisters Who Make Waves

It’s no secret that Taiwanese star Cyndi Wang’s really popular now. And it's all thanks to her appearance on the third season of Chinese reality show Sisters Who Make Waves, where she captured the hearts of everyone right from the very first episode.

And now that the show’s over, with Cyndi coming in first, demand for the 39-year-old is through the roof.

The all-stars.

According to reports, Cyndi is set to star in an upcoming variety show along with fellow Sisters Who Make Waves contestants Gillian Chung, Charlene Choi, Wu Jinyan and Huang Xiaolei.

Former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung, 33, who ranked second in the show, will be appearing in a different variety show with other contestants Kelly Yu, Liu Lian, Zhang Li, and Zhang Tian Ai.

Cyndi and Jessica came in first and second respectively.

A number of other Sisters will also be making guest appearances on the two shows.

Recently, the costs of staging both shows were reported, with over 410mil yuan (S$83.5mil) invested into Cyndi’s variety show.

Of the total costs, 200mil yuan (S$40.7mil) will be used to pay the celebs.

Well, that is if this anonymous list is to be trusted.

In contrast, Jessica’s variety show will only cost about 175mil yuan ($35.6mil). It was reported that the reason Cyndi’s show costs so much more is because the latter is so popular her appearance fees are now a lot higher.

Cyndi reportedly made MangoTV quite a bit of revenue, which is why they’re not balking at the asking price.

Cyndi and Jessica really bonded over the course of the show.
