Deric Wan Stands Up For Wife After Netizen Says She Looks "Too Average"
On 31 Oct, Hong Kong actor Deric Wan, 57, took to his Douyin to share some really sweet selfies with his 37-year-old wife, Chinese actress Zhao Ting, and their seven-year-old daughter.
But who would have thought that a not-so-kind comment about his wife by a certain netizen would get Deric so riled up?

So what exactly did the netizen say?
Well, "the lady looks too average" was what they said.
Deric's response?
"Mutual respect is very important! You can call me ugly, but I warn you not to say anything about my family anymore! Please take a look in the mirror before you comment [on others]!," he replied to said netizen.
However, he added that he "will not be blocking [the netizen]."
Apart from responding directly to the nasty comment, Deric subsequently wrote a separate post, saying: "You guys can call me ugly, or say all sorts of bad things about me. But I warn everyone not say mean things about my family members! The two of them are just regular people! I've never made nasty comments about you guys right!"
Damn, so fiesty.
After seeing how Deric stood up for his family, many netizens praised the actor for being a "good man".
