Dilireba Eating Noodles Is Apparently The Pick-Me-Up Chinese Netizens Need

Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat aka Dilireba is currently in Chengdu shooting Prosecution Elite, her new drama in which she plays a, you guessed it, prosecutor.

In one of the scenes, she and her co-star Tong Dawei were filmed in a roadside noodle shop eating, you guessed it again, noodles.

Dressed simply in jeans and a white blazer, her shoulder-length hair frames her barely made-up face as she bends over the low table.

Her chopsticks grip onto a ginormous mound of starchy noodles that's lifted halfway to her face. It doesn't get more quotidian than this.

But the netizens are loving it.

China Press shares their sentiments. "Even with her plain outfit and light make-up, even with no filters or photo editing, she still stands out from the crowd. And eating by the side of the road — everything about her feels so down-to-earth," they gushed.

This is not the first time Dilireba has been lavished with appreciation for her nood-slurping skills.

In early 2020, while China was in the grips of its mass lockdown, Tencent Kandian shared stills from a trailer where she was eating instant mee.

They raved: 'For the people stuck at home, this is without doubt a great opportunity to bask in Dilireba's beauty.'

We're not disagreeing that Dilireba is a gorgeous woman, but the raving is kinda over the top, no? Or maybe it's our low blood sugar talking.
