Ekin Cheng’s Wife Yoyo Mung Fails Japanese Test, Colleague Posts Her Exam Paper Online
It’s no secret that Hongkong star Ekin Cheng and his wife, former TVB actress Yoyo Mung, love Japan.
The couple, who tied the knot in Tokyo in 2013, have properties in Fukuoka and had previously shared plans to move to Japan in the future.
Last year, Yoyo, 48, splashed around HK$1mil (S$173K) to start a real estate business in Fukuoka. In order to communicate with her staff, she even took up Japanese language classes.
However, despite her best efforts, she doesn't seem to be performing as well as she hoped. She recently failed her Japanese proficiency test, and last week, a pic of her exam paper was posted on the company’s Facebook page by a colleague for all to see.
Oops.

Was the colleague trying to mock Yoyo?
Tagging Yoyo in the post, the colleague wrote: “Did you notice that one of our female colleagues hasn’t been active on social media lately? Actually, she has been busy studying Japanese online everyday. She has a lot of homework and tests, but her results…” along with a facepalm emoji.
Though only a section of the test can be seen in the photo, it revealed her final score — 24 out of 50.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the colleague wrote that Yoyo has to "retake the test" along with three laughing emojis.
In the caption, the colleague also encouraged Yoyo to focus on improving her Japanese and leave all the company matters to them.
The post has since been removed.
