Face Of Selina Jen’s Mystery New Boyfriend Revealed After They Attend Mickey Huang’s Birthday Party Together

Earlier this month, Taiwanese singer-actress Selina Jen, 40, confirmed that she’s in a relationship. However, all she would reveal about her boyfriend is that he's seven years younger, and that they’re very much in love.

But now, we finally have a glimpse of his face, and we have Taiwanese host Mickey Huang to thank for it.

On Wednesday (Mar 30), the new couple turned up hand-in-hand to attend Mickey’s 50th birthday party.

While Selina was very protective of her boyfriend’s privacy, making sure that they weren’t standing together in group photos, it seems like the S.H.E member slipped up for a minute that night.

Or rather, Mickey ‘slipped up’.

But he's still in shot here (top left, next to Selina who is in blue)

Eagle-eyed netizens quickly spotted Selina and her boyfriend seated in the background of a picture that Mickey shared on his Facebook.

And of course the picture quickly went viral.

Though it wasn't exactly a super clear glimpse of his face, and the picture has since been deleted from Mickey’s Facebook, it was enough for the media to run amok with flowery descriptions of his appearance.

And their adjectives of choice appear to be “young and tender”, as well as “innocent and pure-hearted”.

Well, we totally get why they chose those adjectives.

They arrived at the party hand-in-hand (and in matching outfits too)

A few days later, Selina spoke to the press at an event, revealing that Mickey apologised to her immediately after realising that he had inadvertently exposed her boyfriend’s face.

Instead of feeling miffed, Selina said she felt embarrassed at having stolen the spotlight from Mickey at his own party. She also laughed at how reporters “are true detectives” for having spotted her boyfriend.

As for her boyfriend, she said he “reacted very calmly” after finding out that everyone knows what he looks like now. However, they don’t plan to have another ‘face reveal’ in the near future.

Selina was previously married to lawyer Richard Chang. They have remained good friends after their 2016 divorce and he’s believed to be dating Taiwanese actress Ivy Yin.
