Fann Wong Breaks Social Media Silence Following Dad's Death, Dedicates Sweet Drawing To Him
The actress' dad passed away earlier this month.
On July 7, news that Fann Wong’s 80-year-old dad, Fann Chin Khew, had died was made public when celebrity hairstylist David Gan shared a post on his Instagram comforting Fann, 50. Details about his passing were also shared by Fann’s younger sister, former child actress Fan Wenqing.
However, Fann has remained silent on social media — until last night (Jul 13). The actress’ last Instagram post was an advertorial for a beauty brand on July 5.
Late last night, Fann posted her drawing of a little girl with her dad. “Dad, are you doing well?” read Fann's short, sweet and also very touching caption.
As of press time, Fann’s post has already gotten 7,000 likes, with many celebs and netizens leaving comments with the heart emoji to comfort Fann.
Celebs who’ve left comments include Fann’s husband, Christopher Lee, as well as Rebecca Lim, Chen Hanwei, Hong Huifang, Jeanette Aw and Lin Meijiao.
