Fengshui Master Sabos Yoyo Chen, Says The TVB Star Doesn’t Want To "Reconcile" With Husband Vincent Wong
As if we weren't already convinced that their marriage is on the rocks.
What in the world is going on with married TVB stars Yoyo Chen, 40, and Vincent Wong, 38?
Yoyo has declined to talk about their relationship in recent years, sparking rumours that their marriage is on the rocks.
And her lack of a reaction at Vincent's Best Actor win at this year's TVB Anniversary Awards only added fuel to the fire.
On Wednesday (Sep 15), well-known Hongkong fengshui master Edward Li held his first solo calligraphy exhibition and Yoyo and fellow actress Winki Lai were guests at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
During an interview, Edward praised Yoyo’s nine-year-old daughter for being smart and pretty, and even pointed out that she can join the Miss Hong Kong pageant in future.
When reporters asked Yoyo if she would like to try for a son, Edward interrupted, saying: With whom? She doesn’t want to reconcile.
Oops.
Yoyo immediately turned red and all she could do was smile, albeit awkwardly. She then tried to brush off the remark by explaining that she is career-minded, while repeatedly nudging Edward to stop.
But he just kept going.
“She is an ‘idol’ so she has to use her husband to create news. Her husband has a lot of scandals,” said Edward.
When asked if it’s true that she doesn’t wish to reconcile with Vincent, Yoyo replied nervously: The master is always joking. He is very funny and humorous, so just take what he said as a joke.”
She continued: “I don’t know how to put this... He just says whatever comes to mind. Some of it may not necessarily be true. I know over the past few years everyone has been very concerned about my personal matters. I hope everyone will pay attention to my work, I will not comment about personal matters.
Yoyo and Vincent’s nine-year marriage has been rumoured to be on the rocks since 2018 and there is talk that they are living apart.
Sources say it's Vincent’s philandering ways that's creating trouble in their relationship. The actor has been linked to several women in the past, including disgraced actress Jacqueline Wong.
