Golden Melody Awards best male singer Leo Wang, 29, is now an Uber driver
Last April, Taiwanese singer Leo Wang, 29, who won Best Mandarin Male Singer at the 2019 Golden Melody Awards, was accused of cheating on his 36-year-old American wife with a 20-year-old.
In September, Leo revealed that he and his wife were divorced.
Now, the singer is making headlines for working as an Uber driver.
Driving is just his hobby, okay?
His management has confirmed the reports, adding that "performing is still Leo Wang's main focus" and that he "only works as a driver occasionally".
The agency also alluded that Leo's new side hustle has nothing to do with money.
"He purely enjoys driving and driving an Uber is more carefree. [He] didn't really take note of the number of times he's done it or pay attention to how much he's earned. He's been performing as usual," they said.
So how does Leo react when he's recognised by fans while on the road?
"They just chat as usual," said his management.
With regards to Leo's income as an Uber driver, his management said they're "not sure". They also declined to comment on his love life.
