Heytea Launches Chinese New Year-Themed Drink With "Manually Crushed" Cherries

Just last weekend, Chinese tea chain Heytea opened its second branch at Clarke Quay offering alcoholic tipples. Now, it has just launched a pretty-looking seasonal berry drink just for CNY at both its Ion Orchard and Clarke Quay outlets.

The Cherry Cheezo is Heytea’s take on a fruity and “auspicious luscious red” beverage. It’s made with “manually crushed” Chilean cherries mixed with strawberry pulp and an Ever Spring tea base, which is green tea with cane sugar, all topped with the brand’s famous cheese foam. You can choose to swap out the green tea with the King Fone, Heytea’s signature tea brewed with oolong tea leaves, if you wish.

Just for the festive season, Heytea will be changing its cup sleeves and paper bags to auspicious red ones printed with the Chinese character xi (which means happiness and prosperity).

Wanna grab your hands on these cute red packets? Pop by Heytea’s outlet at Ion Orchard from Jan 26 to Feb 4 for a chance to snag some with every purchase of a cup of King Fone tea. Only 50 sets will be given out daily. The Cherry Cheezo is available till mid Feb at both Heytea outlets.
