Hong Kong stars ooze effortless charm on the 2023 Hong Kong Film Awards red carpet
The 41st Hong Kong Film Awards was held last night (Apr 16) with some of Asia's biggest stars, including Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, strutting their stuff on the red carpet.
In an Instagram caption, Michelle shared that she got her first award nomination at the 1986 Awards, where she was up for Best New Performer.
The biggest winner this year was action thriller flick Detective vs Sleuths, which bagged four awards — Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor for Hong Kong actor Lau Ching Wan, 59, and Best Cinematography.
Hong Kong pop diva Sammi Cheng, 50, also made headlines after winning the Best Actress award, breaking her two-decade-long losing streak.
On the red carpet, the stars oozed effortless charm as they turned out look after look.
