“I’m Very Rich”: TVB Actress Sisley Choi, 30, After Media Paints Her As A Money-Grubbing Two-Timer
She's done with getting called names by the media.
TVB actress Sisley Choi has had enough of Hongkong media speculating about her personal life.
The 30-year-old lashed out on social media after multiple news outlets claimed that she is dating both The Voice Hongkong Season 2 runner up Hubert Wu and the son of a finance tycoon at the same time.
“I’m indeed very rich,” she said in a recent IG post. “That’s because I have friends, family, and colleagues who love and trust me. I will continue looking after myself and do my job. Thank you for your concern.”
She also added the hashtags ‘I didn’t know the importance of making up stories based on pics when I was younger’, ‘I only realised that you can put it to good use when you’ve grown up’ and ‘Enough is enough’, basically calling out the media for basing their reports purely on photos without taking context into account.
Sisley has been linked to actors Vincent Wong, Fred Cheng, Tony Hung and Dickson Yu over the years, and is often accused by the media of being a gold-digger.
Some of the nasty things that have been written about Sisley include how she's been described as a seductress and how they claim she “has no qualms about getting into relationships with married men just for their money or power”.
The actress is said to have moved into a new home in Sai Kung, Hongkong recently, and has been driving a Porsche that belongs to Hubert’s older sister, which further fuelled those gold-digger rumours.
What these reports failed to mention is that Sisley was crowned Best Actress at the 2020 TVB Anniversary Awards, and that her boost in popularity has led to a jump in endorsements.
Surely that increase in income would allow her to lead a higher SES lifestyle right?
