Jack Neo’s Eldest Son Gets Married; Malaysian Media Says His Wife Looks Like Shang-Chi Star Awkwafina
Hollywood movie star doppelganger, anybody?
According to an interview Jack did with local Chinese daily Lianhe Zaobao, the 61-year-old hopes his new daughter-in-law will give birth to three children. His reason? “So that the house will be more lively, I had four children myself”.
Jack has three sons and one daughter — Ethel, 29, Regent, Ritz, 22, and Raffles, 17. He also has two grandsons — Ethel's two sons Flynn and Austin are now three and eight months old respectively.
Jack also shared that Regent’s wedding ceremony was just a small church affair, with a few family and friends in attendance.
He let on that the newly-wed couple had planned for a 250 pax wedding banquet, but their plans had to be shelved at the last minute due to the new COVID-19 restrictions.
If the restrictions ease up, Jack said Regent and his wife intend to hold their banquet next month, on November 8.
While not much is known about Regent’s marketing exec wife, Malaysian Chinese newspaper Sin Chew Daily have said that she resembles Awkwafina, the New York-born rapper-comedian-actress and breakout star of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
