Jimmy Lin’s Doctor Refutes Rumours That The Star Needs To Be Fed Through A Tube Following Car Crash

On Jul 22, Taiwanese star Jimmy Lin, 47, and his six-year-old son, Jenson, were involved in a car accident in Taoyuan City. It was reported that the star's Tesla burst into flames after crashing into a signpost.

Bystanders then helped pull father and son out of the vehicle, and they were taken to
Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for treatment.

At that time, Jimmy's brother said that the star, who sustained fractures on his face and body, had regained consciousness and was able to engage in simple conversations.

It was also reported that Jimmy would be undergoing surgery, though his manager declined to reveal more information about the operation.

However, Hong Kong media recently claimed that the actor’s condition worsened after undergoing a facial operation, and even said that he currently has to be fed through a
nasogastric tube.

According to Jimmy's wife, their son Jensen only suffered minor injuries

Jimmy's management initially said they would not comment on the rumours. However, they issued a statement today (Aug 24), saying: "The patient is currently recovering. About the rumours that have been going around the past few days, please do not fabricate news and spread falsehoods. If there are updates we will inform everyone, thank you for your concern."

On top of that, the head of hospital shared that Jimmy's treatment was a success, and the star had already gone home to recuperate. The doctor also said Jimmy was never fed through a nasogastric tube.
