Kim Lim arranges private fan meet with Cristiano Ronaldo for YouTuber Jianhao Tan and his wife
In case you didn’t know, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was in town over the weekend, with fans turning up in droves wherever the 38-year-old went, from the Botanic Gardens to Victoria Junior College.
But for local YouTuber Jianhao Tan, 29, and his influencer wife, Debbie Soon, 26, their time with the iconic footballer took place in a shopping mall.
In a video Debbie shared on her socials, she revealed that the couple got to meet Ronaldo and take pictures with the star thanks to socialite and beauty entrepreneur Kim Lim, 31.

You see, Kim’s pretty darn close with Ronaldo. Remember when Ronaldo visited Kim right after she gave birth to her son, Kyden, in 2017?
Ronaldo and Kim’s dad, billionaire Peter Lim, are also business-partners-turned-friends.
According to media reports, Mint Media Sports, a company owned by Peter, owns Ronaldo’s image rights. In 2021, Ronaldo announced his endorsement for ZujuGP, a a digital platform to digitise the live game experience for footballs fans co-founded by Peter and his son, Kiat Lim.
We would've been star-struck too.
And that’s how Jianhao and Debbie were able to meet Ronaldo, take pictures with him, and even get a jersey signed by him too.
Debbie added that this was her birthday gift to Jianhao. The YouTuber’s 30th birthday falls on June 14.
Jianhao Instagrammed the meeting as well, writing: “My wife woke me up this morning and brought me to meet [Ronaldo]. I’m starstruck. Thanks for arranging [Kim]. This is the craziest birthday gift.”
Netizens and fellow celebs alike were full of envy in the comments section, with one netizen writing that Debbie’s the “best wife ever”.
