Linda Chung, 38, Says She Didn’t Expect To Get Pregnant For The 3rd Time, Did 3 Pregnancy Tests To Make Sure

If you find that Linda Chung, 38, has been a little quiet on social media lately, that’s ‘cos the Hongkong actress, who is expecting her third child, has been having a pretty difficult pregnancy.

On Sunday (Apr 24), Linda, who is 10 weeks along, posted a video on her YouTube channel thanking everyone for their well wishes. She also shared more about her pregnancy, which she believes will be her last.

Linda and her chiropractor husband, Jeremy Leung, 50, have a daughter Kelly, five, and son, Jared, three.

Linda showed a sonogram of her foetus, which she said is currently about the size of a strawberry. She also shared that wasn’t expecting to get pregnant and even did three pregnancy tests just to make sure.

Though she’s elated to be expecting, her first trimester was “brutal”.

“After I found out I was pregnant [at five weeks] all those pregnancy symptoms just came like that,” she said, clicking her fingers.

“I have been feeling really sick. I feel nauseous all day… and everything made me want to puke. Even talking to you right now makes me want to puke, I am so sorry,” she laughed.

She added that mornings are the toughest ‘cos “that’s when the nauseous feeling is the strongest”, and that she has been sleeping and eating a lot as it helps with her nausea.

Not only does she feel weak, her emotions are a little out of whack too.

She admitted to being very “irrational and very emotional” and “would suddenly feel very scared”.

“One advice I would give people who are going through this is don't be shy to ask for help when you are going through morning sickness. Don't be ashamed that you can't do anything during that moment, you just need to rest,” she said.

Though Linda did not reveal the gender of the baby, she did refer to the baby as a “she” at one point in the clip, before correcting herself, saying “he or she”.

So was it a Freudian slip? Hope we don’t have to wait till November to find out.
