Malaysian Actress Lana Nordin Spends S$50K On Her 4th Nose Job

Malaysian actress Lana Nordin, 42, recently set tongues wagging after revealing how much she spent on her fourth nose job.

Lana took to TikTok on Oct 26 to host a live stream, in which she opened up about going for rhinoplasty.

She revealed that she underwent a "painless surgery”, in which part of her rib cage was used to substitute the more commonly used silicone and plastic for her nose bridge.

As such, the rhinoplasty surgery cost her a whopping S$50K.

“The total cost of my surgery was 166K ringgit (S$49,700). It is more expensive this time, because I chose to undergo a painless surgery. My nose is not bleeding at all [and] tomorrow, I will get my stitches removed,” said Lana.

She went on to explain the reason for using her ribs this time.

She asserted that she did not want to repeat the surgery again, and if “anything happened to her nose”, her husband would not need to help her “open [it] to remove the plastic”.

“I’m using my bone and so this will be permanent,” continued Lana.

She also revealed that this is her fourth time having rhinoplasty, and it will also be her last.

“I don’t wish to do this anymore, because every time I use silicone and plastic, I will get a bacterial infection,” she said.

Lana said this surgery is her fourth and last

Lana also explained why she had the surgery done in Korea.

According to her, getting plastic surgery in Malaysia or Thailand is considered a “taboo”, and one is unable to consume eggs post-surgery.

However, such a rule doesn’t exist in Korea, and one is only forbidden from smoking and drinking alcohol
both of which she doesn’t do.

She addressed questions from netizens, explaining that her intent wasn’t to change the shape of her nose. Instead, it was due to an accident she was involved in when she was 19.

She also made sure to seek approval from her husband and family before getting anything done.

“In order to treat and alter the shape of my nose, my family said it was okay. If I did rhinoplasty for no reason, my mum would be angry,” said Lana.

She also asserted that if she was someone who liked getting plastic surgery done, her lips wouldn’t look the way it does now, which we assume she means natural.

She ended her stream, saying: “Please don’t go overboard with attacking me, I know I’m not everyone’s favourite celeb.”

Lana is married to American volleyball player David McKienzie and they have two young kids, daughter Gia Quinn and son William Daud, together.
