Max Zhang Called Out For Posting Unflattering Pic Of Wife Ada Choi On The Subway
Well, Max really did think it was a nice pic.
You never know what netizens will make noise about on social media.
Take this Nov 9 Weibo post by 47-year-old Chinese action star Max Zhang, 47, who shared two photos of him and his wife, Hongkong actress Ada Choi, 48, on the Shanghai metro.
“We’re taking the subway today,” he wrote.
What should have been an innocuous post suddenly turned ugly when some netizens took umbrage at how, well, “ugly” Ada looked in one of the photos.
“Can't you take a better picture of your wife?” one of his followers asked, to which Max replied: “Isn’t this a nice photo?”
The same fan then told Max to “answer that question [himself] without betraying [his] conscience”.
Some netizens also told Max, out of concern, we suppose, that he should use sunscreen whenever he goes out, with one going as far as to write the phrase “apply sunscreen” 14 times.
Max then entertained that very concerned netizen with this reply: “Perhaps it was because there wasn’t enough light.”
