M'sian Singer Siti Nurhaliza Reveals Swanky New Apartment In Dubai Development Where Each Unit Reportedly Costs At Least S$6Mil
Malaysian singer Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza, 43, surprised many of her followers on Wed (Dec 28) when she shared a tour of her new home in Dubai on Instagram.
The celebrated star, who reportedly became a millionaire shortly after debuting at the age of 16, is said to have bought an apartment in the swanky Address Residences Dubai Opera.
The development consists of two high-rise towers modelled after the sailboats of the Arabian Sea and they stand at 64 and 56 storeys respectively.
Located in the Opera district, the development is walking distance from the iconic Burj Khalifa and expansive The Dubai Mall.
Home sweet home indeed.
All apartments will get access to a concierge service, as well as facilities like a kids club, gym, swimming pool and lounge.
According to Malaysian media, a unit costs a minimum of RM$20mil (S$6mil). Apartments available range from one-bedroom, to five-bedroom units.
Growing up in the lap of luxury.
In another video Siti shared, her two kids — four-year-old Siti Aafiyah Khalid and one-year-old Muhammad Afwa Khalid — could be seen staring out the floor-to-ceiling windows of the apartment and gaping at the city view below.
Siti tied the knot with now 63-year-old Dato’ Sri Haji Khalid Mohamad Jiwa in 2006. Khalid has four sons from his first marriage.
Following Siti’s IG Story videos, her stepson, Asyraf Khalid, 30, congratulated her on her purchase on his Instagram .
In his post, Asyraf addressed Siti as “Mak Iti (loosely translated as Mum Iti)”.
She's earned it.
“Congratulations Mak Iti on successfully purchasing your first apartment in Dubai, I feel proud and happy about your success,” he wrote, adding that both he and his wife hope to follow in Siti’s footsteps, and own property abroad as well.
“Now you don’t have to stay at a hotel whenever you visit Dubai,” he went on to joke.
Asyraf has since deleted his post.
