Netizens Amazed At How Much More "Rejuvenated" Dave Wang, 59, Looks In His Latest Video
Singer Dave Wang, who was one of Asia’s biggest pop stars — like big enough to “rival the Four Heavenly Kings” kind-of-big — recently delighted fans when he made a rare appearance on social media to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year.
The 59-year-old’s last update before this was posted on Weibo during the earlier days of the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, where he urged his followers to “take care during these difficult times”.

And his latest selfies were posted the year before that
In his newest video, which was shared on Xiaohongshu, a clean-shaven Dave is seen with healthy-looking plump cheeks and a ruddy complexion. His hair has also been dyed completely black, making him look a lot younger.
“I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year, I hope you all get better and better in the New Year,” said Dave, who was full of smiles and clearly in high spirits (something some media outlets pointed out was very different from his “cool” image in the past).

Hi, Dave!
For those who don’t know, Dave, who announced his retirement in 2017 and now lives in Canada, once revealed that he was poisoned by someone in Hongkong, leaving him with damaged vocal cords and severe hair loss.
He knew who the perpetrator was but chose not to take any action due to his religious beliefs.
This explains why fans are so amazed and happy to see his more “rejuvenated” appearance, with some even asking if the clip was taken recently.

Will we get to see Dave on stage again soon?
