Popular Plant Shop The Nursery Opens Insta-Worthy Cafe-Bar In Sembawang
Called The Nursery Cafe & Bar, the Insta-worthy spot transforms into a bar at night serving alcoholic tipples and bar bites like fried chicken wings and truffle fries. 
The look
Like The Nursery itself, the brightly-lit, breezy cafe is picturesque and filled with lots of potted plants. There are seats by a bar counter, as well as tables for small groups.
The menu
For its soft launch, the cafe is serving a brunch-friendly menu which includes an English-style Big Breakfast ($18.90) platter with scrambled eggs, sausage, baked beans and toast. There’s also a HEC Croissant ($12.90) stuffed with eggs, ham and cheese.
You can also get a selection of waffles, like Classic Bacon & Egg Waffle ($12.90), and gelato-topped versions like the Very Berry Waffle ($13.90) with your choice of either earl grey, speculoos or vanilla gelato.
Pizzas served here
There are pizzas too, like the Four Cheese ($12.90) and Truffle Mozzarella ($12.90).
Dessert picks
For dessert, there’s Hong Kong-Style French Toast ($9.90), Shibuya Toast ($15.90), Coconut Affogato ($7) with coconut ice cream and a Dark Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Gelato ($12.90). Beverages include coffees like a Latte ($4.50 for hot/ $5.50 for iced) and a Coconut Cooler ($5.50).
Plant shop
Other than cafe food, diners can also shop for plants at the attached store after their meal.
