Sushiro Parkway Parade suddenly announces closure ‘till further notice’

Since arriving in Singapore in 2019, Japanese conveyor belt sushi chain Sushiro has opened nine outlets including a branch at Parkway Parade. But just yesterday (29 Jun), Sushiro announced via social media that the Parkway Parade restaurant would be closed from Jun 30 “till further notice”.

This is the reason

According to a Sushiro rep, there is a temporary closure “due to the construction of the Marine Parade MRT station, which makes Sushiro Parkway Parade very inaccessible”. The Thomson-East Coast line station is expected to be completed in 2024.

There is a new Sushiro outlet

But in the meantime there is a new Sushiro outlet you can check out, which is opening this 19 July at Wisma Atria. The 170-seat eatery takes over the space vacated by cafe Wonderland Savour. Sushiro plans to eventually open “at least 40 stores in Singapore”.

Sushiro Wisma Atria opens 19 July, 2023 at #02-08, Wisma Atria, 435 Orchard Rd, S238877. Open daily 11am-10pm. Instagram, Facebook
