Taiwanese celebs perform Blackpink song, Jacky Wu says they should be called ‘Blackpig’

It's no secret that Taiwanese host Jacky Wu, 60, has a really sharp tongue, but what he said about a group of Taiwanese celebs who danced to a Blackpink song on his variety show Hot Door Night is just... S-A-V-A-G-E.

Yes, just like that Blackpink hit.

According to reports, Taiwanese celebs Kuakua, Winnie Ho, Xia La and Lala Su had banded together to perform a Blackpink song for Hot Door Night.

Not only did they put in hours of rehearsals, they also had costumes made. Costumes that were sadly criticised for looking like curtains.

After their performance, Jacky then mercilessly joked that the group be called "Blackpig" instead. Ouch.

We're glad the group were able to take the jokes in stride. Winnie went on to explain that dancing has always been something she struggled with since joining showbiz 30 years ago as she has coordination issues and no sense of rhythm.

She also shared that she trained extra hard for the performance, adding that her back is now covered with pain relief patches.

"I have kids so my pelvis is relatively loose and that causes my groin to get strained whenever I dance," said Winnie, who is 46 and has two daughters, eight and five.

"But today, we wanted to showcase our spirit, which is that we shouldn't give up on our dreams no matter how old we are," she added.

In response, Jacky said: "There's a saying: "An old dog can't perform new tricks", but that's not true. The old dog is just tired, and all you need to do is to motivate it to start again."

That's a compliment, right?
