Tiffany Ann Hsu And Roy Chiu Are Married
Taiwanese stars Tiffany Ann Hsu, 37, and Roy Chiu, 40, announced earlier today (Dec 10) that they’re married.
The couple starred opposite each other in the 2021 hit movie Man In Love. The movie is a remake of a 2014 South Korean film of the same name.
Due to the popularity of the movie and their on-screen chemistry, Tiffany and Roy were the subject of multiple reports claiming that they're in a relationship. However, the couple never confirmed anything.
Until today, that is.
Choosing to announce the good news through their respective social media accounts, both Tiffany and Roy posted the same pic of them showing off their wedding bands.
According to reports, the couple registered their marriage on Dec 7, with Taiwanese host Pauline Lan Hsin Mei, 56, as their witness.
In her caption on Instagram, Tiffany wrote: “I once said that if I had good news, I’ll share it with everyone. The good news is, we’re married,” adding the hashtag “Thank you for everyone’s blessing”.
A number of celebs left comments congratulating the couple, including Ruby Lin and Chen Bolin
When reached for a comment, Tiffany’s manager confirmed that the couple has already registered their marriage.
“[Tiffany] is already Mrs. Chiu,” the manager shared in a statement. Tiffany’s manager also requested for a little privacy for husband and wife.
They're officially hitched!
Tiffany was previously in a long-term relationship with cinematographer Liu You Nan . In May this year, she confirmed that they’d split on good terms.
She also famously dated Taiwanese heartthrob Ethan Ruan for eight years.
Roy has been linked to a number of female celebs over the years, with some netizens decrying his “sordid" dating history.
In 2019, he publicly announced that he was “pursuing” Taiwanese actress Janine Chang. The duo had starred opposite each other in the film Eight-Year-Old Father the same year.
He was also previously linked to singer Rainie Yang, Taiwanese actresses Joe Chen and Tia Lee, and Chinese actress Tiffany Tang.
