Trailer Watch: The Ghostface Killer Takes On New York In Scream VI

Start spreading the news — the Ghostface Killer is raising hell in the city that doesn’t sleep.

In the teaser for Scream VI, the four survivors of the last Woodsboro massacre (aka the recent Scream re-quel directed by Matt Bettinelli and Tyler Gillett) — Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega — are bound for New York. But for some reason, they can’t seem to get away from the Ghostface Killer (he takes the subway!)

The sequel, again helmed by Bettinelli and Gillett, also stars Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), Henry Czerny, Dermot Mulroney, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving. Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere reprise their legacy characters, Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed (from Scream 4), respectively. Neve Campbell opted not to return to play Sydney Prescott over a salary dispute.
