Vera Wang celebrates 74th birthday as a 'rhinestone cowboy'

It’s that time of the year again when famed fashion designer Vera Wang makes headlines for celebrating her birthday.

This year, Vera’s marking her 74th with a wild west-themed party.

In a series of Instagram posts, Vera shared pictures of the party set-up, as well as of her getting dolled up. 

“74 and counting… Like a rhinestone cowboy,” she wrote in one caption, while another declared that “Vera's Saloon” was officially open that night. 

74? No way!

As always, the comments were filled with netizens and celebs alike marvelling over just how good Vera looks.

“Is she a vampire? How can her skin still look so firm?” a netizen commented, while another asked incredulously if the photos were edited.

Others wrote that Vera looked “half her age” in the pictures. “Younger every year,” another netizen marvelled.

Oh, and if you’re looking for Vera’s secret to looking so good, here’s what the fashion designer had to say in an interview — "I always said that vodka cocktail, a lot of sleep, but work - work is the magic elixir.”
