Vivian Hsu’s Husband Says He “Trusts” Her & “Will Protect” Her In Response To Her Alleged Involvement In Wang Leehom’s Divorce Saga

Taiwanese singer-actress Vivian Hsu unwittingly found herself being dragged into the scandalous Wang Leehom divorce saga when she was accused of having an affair with the disgraced Mandopop star.

Since then, Vivian, 46, has released several statements on social media maintaining her innocence by clarifying that she has never interfered with the marriage of Leehom, 45, and his ex-wife Lee Jinglei.

And now, her husband, Singapore-based businessman Sean Lee, has spoken up in her defense as well.

They’ve been married for seven years

On Thursday (Dec 23), Sean, 43, released a statement through his lawyer saying that like everyone else, he’s been following the news about Leehom and Jinglei over the past few days.

Unlike most people, however, he’s personally affected by all the speculations about his wife’s alleged involvement, which were sparked by Jinglei’s claim that Leehom had attended a gathering at a married woman’s house despite knowing he would violate COVID-19 restrictions.

This gathering has caused trouble more than once

“As a husband and a father, my heart aches for my wife Vivian Hsu, who has been hit by unexpected disaster ‘cos of this incident,” he said. “All kinds of false insinuations, defamation, and insults have seriously affected the peaceful life of our family and harmed our reputation as husband and wife.”

He continued: “I may not be a public figure, but as Vivian Hsu’s other half, I know her very well, I will protect my wife, I trust her. All harassment, insinuations, defamation, insults, and online bullying should stop now. I will not let anyone hurt her or our family again.”

Vivian and Sean have a son and she’s also stepmother to his two daughters
