Woman Buys Bra From Tiffany Ann Hsu’s Lingerie Brand; Says Actual Product Is Very Different From What The Star Wears In The Ads

2021 was a great year for Taiwanese actress Tiffany Ann Hsu, 37.

Her movie Man in Love was a massive hit — it was the number one film in Taiwan for three weeks — and she got hitched to her co-star Roy Chiu, 40.

In addition to that, Tiffany’s first business venture, lingerie brand An.niversary which was launched last November, is reportedly doing very well too.

The success of the brand may have something to do with Tiffany being the face, or should we say, body of her products.

However, a customer recently took to the internet to share her dissatisfaction with An.niversary.

According to the customer, who aired her frustrations on an online consumer discussion board, she bought lingerie from An.niversary last December because she was "drawn to" Tiffany’s photos.

She said her order was a Christmas gift, though she did not specify whether it was a gift for herself or someone else. However, the order only arrived in April this year, making it a “Children’s Day present” instead. (Children’s Day in Taiwan falls on April 4.)

The customer also shared a picture (above) of the actual product she received, saying that the bra she ordered cost S$60, but looked completely different from the piece Tiffany was wearing in the pictures.

The left half of the bra was missing some tassles, while the lace on the bottom of the piece would ride up when she wears it.

The customer lamented that the bra looked like “a mimosa plant missing one half of its eyelashes” and that the quality was definitely unacceptable.

She also added that besides two bras, she also bought a pair of undies which has yet to arrive.

The exasperated customer, who spent a total of S$140, went on to joke: “I’ll just take it as my contribution to Tiffany and Roy's wedding expenses. I hope you and Roy stay happily together.”

If you’re wondering why she didn’t request for a refund, the customer shared that according to the terms and conditions on the An.niversary site, products cannot be returned if their tags and safety sewing have been removed, which she had to do in order to try them on.

After posting the review of her experience with the brand, the customer edited her post, stating that the brand’s customer service got back to her within 15 minutes of her making the complaint, and she will be getting her refund after all. Phew.
