Woman horrifies netizens by chopping a durian like a coconut and eating the slivers
Getting your durians delivered is the most convenient way of enjoying the king of fruits. But occasionally, we have had to chop our own durians because some stalls don't provide dehusking service.
Now, most people would use a cleaver and firmly split the durian in half before dividing the shell chambers. That was not what a now-viral woman did when she opened a durian by hacking it into haphazard pieces.

Photos of the woman decimating her durian recently made rounds on Twitter, though she was not identified. But netizens were collectively horrified by what she was doing in the pics. Holding a large knife and the durian, which was placed on a Korean language newspaper, she first shaved the spiky thorns off the durian shell.
Next, she hacked off pieces of the shell to reveal pale yellow, unripe durian flesh. The dry, hard flesh and parts of the seeds were also sawed off.
At one point, she sampled the durian flesh by eating a sliver she had sliced off. If you suddenly heard a strange sound, that was all the durian sellers in Singapore screaming after witnessing this desecration.

The woman also attempted to plate the durian by prying the flesh out of the shell in bits and pieces. It was for the best that the durian was not sentient, because we feel very sorry for this poor fruit.
