Yvonne Lim shares never-before-seen photos from her Ritz-Carlton wedding on her 9th wedding anniversary
Most people would have finished posting pictures from their wedding day within the first month or so.
But not Yvonne Lim, 46, who's been married to her Taiwanese-American husband Alex Tien, 43, for nine years.
Or maybe she was just too busy taking care of their two children AJ, eight and Alexa, six?
Last night, the Taiwan-based actress took to Instagram to commemorate her ninth wedding anniversary.
"Was wondering why @alextien insisted I have to be back today while I am busy running errands back home... It’s our 9th year wedding anniversary!!," gushed Yvonne, who was back in Singapore so she could vote for the Presidential Elections. (Congrats Tharman!)
In her post, Yvonne also shared photos from her wedding that have remained in her private collection until now.
When 8days.sg reached out to the actress, it appears she still remembers her wedding like it was just yesterday.
According to Yvonne, their wedding spanned two days. First was their solemnisation on Sep 6 and then a wedding banquet at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore the next day.
As we all know, Yvonne loves giving surprises. And it was the same at her wedding. There was a surprise fireworks show and she and Alex also delighted their guests with a flash mob dance with dancers who dressed up as waiters.
Alex also performed his buddy Jam Hsiao's song 'Marry Me' which brought Yvonne to tears.
