Zhai Siming And Tyler Ten Lament People Don’t Know Them… And Chantalle Ng Proves It With This Accidental Tag

Star Search 2019 was a fresh breath of air for local showbiz, with a number of new faces joining the industry after the talent search. However, the influx of new actors also means that sometimes, the newbies get mixed up for one another.
And this TikTok video starring Star Search 2019 alums Zhai Siming and Tyler Ten perfectly illustrates this point.
Painful, but relatable for our local celebs, with Chantalle Ng reposting the video on her own IG Story. She even asked for a collab with the two actors too.
But there was just one mistake — she’d mixed up Tyler and his fellow Star Search 2019 alum, Herman Keh.
“Super funny,” Chantalle wrote, before tagging Siming and Herman’s IG accounts. Poor Tyler…
Luckily, Chantalle quickly realised her mistake, posting another Story just one hour later, writing: “It has been brought to my attention that I’ve tagged [Tyler Ten] wrongly, as [Herman Keh instead].”
“I BLAME IT ON THE SPIN CLASS (sic) she added in all caps. You see, the actress had gone for a very exhausting spin class earlier, that’d left her “hiding in the toilet” to catch her breath.
She then went on to share that this case of mistaken identity is something that she faces quite often as well.
“Many people confuse me with [Tay Ying] too,” she laughed, adding: “I am not [Zheng Geping’s] daughter”.
In case you didn’t know — Chantalle’s the daughter of veteran actress Lin Meijiao, while Tay Ying’s the daughter of celeb couple Zheng Geping and Hong Huifang.
