Zhou Xun Spotted Doing Sumo Squat While Taking Pic With Other Stars; Netizens Say She Should “Act More Like A Celeb”

How do you make people forget about the time you were caught losing your cool on camera at work? Well, Chinese actress Zhou Xun seems to have unwittingly found a way.
Recently, netizens posted shots of the 47-year-old taking a wefie with Chinese actors Wang Yibo and Wang Chuanjun, as well as Chinese director Cheng Er in front of a building.
In order to get a better angle of the four of them, Zhou Xun basically did a very not-self-conscious-at-all sumo squat while the rest crouched down rather awkwardly around her (trying to either get into frame or to practise safe distancing?).
Her rather ‘auntie’ display — and we mean that in a cute way — tickled netizens, who left amused comments such as: “They look like a group of tourists”, “Why is this so cute?”, “Can she act a bit more like a celebrity?”, and “Xun jie has a talent for being funny”.
Zhou Xun was also described as being very “down-to-earth” for not caring what others might think of her posing like that, despite being an award-winning A-lister.
And to think that just a few weeks ago, Zhou Xun was involved in less flattering headlines about her storming off the set of a photoshoot after supposedly getting into an argument with the crew. Some had speculated that she was “rushing to meet her boyfriend”.
The star, who was previously married to Chinese-American actor Archie Kao, is now believed to be dating Chinese guitarist Zhuo Yue, who at 34 is 13 years her junior.
