It seems like BTS will have an early reunion. All seven members are reportedly getting together on Wednesday (Jun 12) to celebrate Jin’s military service discharge, according to South Korean news outlet Dispatch.

To prepare, the six other members who are still serving their military service – RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook – have applied for a leave of absence, added the news outlet.

The group members are said to be meeting at an undisclosed location in Seoul.

The K-pop group’s agency BigHit Music did not confirm or deny the Dispatch report. It did, however, post a notice on fan community service Weverse, urging fans not to visit Jin's military base to prevent potential overcrowding.

The agency wrote: "Please note that the discharge day is reserved for military personnel only. No special events are planned on the day of Jin’s discharge."

Jin, who enlisted in December 2022, will be the first member of the band to complete his military service. He will be holding a fan meet-and-greet just one day after he is discharged, which will include a fan hug event where Jin will hug 1,000 fans.

The next group member to be discharged is J-Hope, who will complete his military service in October. All seven members are expected to complete their military service by June 2025.
