Humanitarian group UNICEF Korea announced on Monday (Apr 29) that it will be co-organising a fundraiser with members of the popular South Korean girl group SES to aid the children of Gaza currently affected by the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. All the proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to provide nutrition, drinking water, food, sanitation and health supplies for Gazan children.

Called Green Heart Bazaar, the fundraiser will be held on Saturday (May 11) near Kokkiri Royal Town 8 in Seongdong, Seoul. The bazaar, which is in its 12th iteration, was first started by members of SES – Bada, Eugene and Shoo – to raise funds for those underprivileged all over the world through the sale of pre-loved items.

In 2023, SES raised funds to help children affected by the earthquakes in Turkiye and Syria.

This year's Green Heart Bazaar features donations from a large number of Korean celebrities including:

Bada, Eugene and So Yoo-jin will personally be at the upcoming Green Heart Bazaar to help sell the donated items.

Speaking to South Korean outlet CBC News, Bada said: "Thanks to the generosity of so many people, we have been able to continuously support children around the world...We ask for your interest in this bazaar so that children can safely return to their daily lives and live with hope."
