House Of The Dragon fans, are you Team Black or Team Green? HBO said “all must choose” a side in the two trailers they released on Thursday (Mar 21) for season two, which premieres on Jun 16.

The Team Black trailer shows Queen Rhaenyra, played by Emma D'Arcy, and her council fighting for her to claim her "rightful" place on the Iron Throne.

Meanwhile, the one for Team Green shows Alicent Hightower, played by Olivia Cooke, and the King’s Landing team trying to keep Aegon II Targaryen, played by Tom Glynn-Carney, on the throne.

The second season of the HBO original is based on author George RR Martin’s book Fire And Blood, which covers the history of House Targaryen. Set 200 years before the events of the Game Of Thrones, it marks the start of the Targaryen civil war, also known as The Dance Of The Dragons.

Martin got a sneak peek of the first two episodes, and described them as “powerful, emotional, gut-wrenching, heart-rending” and “very dark”, reported American media IGN.

Season two will have eight episodes, shorter than the first season which had 10.

Besides D’Arcy, Cooke and Glynn-Carney, the returning cast also includes Matt Smith, Ewan Mitchell, Eve Best, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint and Fabien Frankel.
