Super Junior member and Single's Inferno host Kyuhyun was injured on Sunday (Nov 19) while trying to stop a knife attack. According to South Korean outlet Sports Chosun, the assailant was a woman in her 30s who broke into a dressing room at a concert hall in Seoul after a performance of the musical Ben-Hur.
In an attempt to stop the woman, Kyuhyun ended up sustaining a minor injury on his finger.
Kyuhyun's agency, Antenna Music, then told members of the media that "he was immediately treated at the scene".
SBS News later reported that the woman's intended target was actor Park Eun-tae. Police investigations also revealed that Kyuhyun, Park and the other actors present did not know the assailant and have no connections with her.
