Weave, the new premier lifestyle cluster at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), opened on Tuesday (Jul 1) with almost 40 lifestyle and premium brands, including several new-to-Singapore culinary concepts.
Weave spans three interconnected levels and 20,000 sqm – that's twice the size of the former Forum at RWS. Designed as a modern lifestyle and community enclave, the new space embraces Singapore’s tropical island-city identity with curated greenery, asymmetrical shopfronts and outdoor refreshment zones.
The lifestyle cluster will also house three standalone flagship shops, also known as Lifestyle Villas, which will feature expansive glass facades that open to nature, while housing multi-storey decks that overlook animated, street-like corridors.
Making its Singapore debut at Weave is patisserie Maison Pierre Hermé Paris by Pierre Hermé, who is known as the Picasso of Pastry.
Housed in one of the Lifestyle Villas, the immersive two-level Singapore flagship boutique, which opens Aug 1, offers Singapore exclusives and a curated selection of the chef’s signature creations, including the iconic Ispahan, a delicate fusion of rose, raspberry and lychee. There will also be an ice cream bar.
Guests can also compose their own gourmet assortments at the boutique’s customisation service.
Joining the lineup as well is WeWa, a Middle Eastern street food concept that celebrates fresh, authentic Mediterranean flavours with pillow-soft pitas, hand-pressed falafels and slow-roasted shawarmas – all prepared in an open kitchen.
Michelin-starred chef Paul Pairet will also debut two brand new dining concepts: Sundae Royale, an ice cream parlour serving freshly churned soft-serve and sorbets with avant-garde flavour pairings, as well as Moutarde, a French kitchen featuring grilled meats, a rotating carvery station and seasonal French classics.
The Michelin-recommended Peking Chamber and the first international outlet of famed Korean bakery Standard Bread will also be making their Singapore debuts at Weave.
Among the other additions is a new Adidas flagship store as well as fashion house Coach's new concept store which will include Singapore’s first Coach Coffee Shop, offering all-day breakfast, its signature soft serve programme and a curated coffee and tea selection.
Luxury vacation-inspired apparel brand Vilebrequin will also open its largest store in Asia at Weave. Inspired by Jules Verne’s sci-fi classic, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, the concept offers an immersive underwater experience, with cascading water-inspired installations and marine-inspired design.
Other highlights include homegrown favourite Old Seng Choong; Mensho X, an evolution of Japan’s renowned ramen house Mensho Tokyo; Singapore-based multi-brand concept store Brisa and many more.
RWS chief executive officer Tan Hee Teck said: "Weave marks a significant milestone in our RWS 2.0 transformation as we redefine premium and lifestyle experiences in one seamless environment. More than a retail space, Weave is a dynamic social hub connecting guests across the resort and attractions to create an immersive journey from day to night.”
