As with every start of the year, Guerlain reveals a new numbered-edition collaboration to celebrate the astrological sign in the Chinese calendar. This year, in the deft hands of Parisian jeweller Francesco Truscelli, the iconic bee bottle transformed into a chinois flacon.

Its auspicious shade of scarlet, lightly gilded in 24-carat gold, is embellished by a scintillating dragon covered in 142 Swarovski crystals.

And if you’re wondering about the juice inside, it contains the enchanting Neroli Outrenoir, a luminous floral bouquet made of bergamot, zesty south Italian fruits and citrusy Neroli.

This unique edition retails at S$1,240 and is available by special order at Guerlain boutiques.

KENZO X NIGO

Famed Japanese designer Nigo didn’t just include a cursory dragon into his creative endeavour for Kenzo because it was the year of the dragon. The Bape founder went the extra mile to pay homage to the Chinese’s love of the prosperous number eight by fashioning the mythical creature into said number.

The gender-neutral collection is made up of ready-to-wear, head gear and small leather goods.
